I am currently investigating the effects of a range of behavioral, environmental, and personality predictors (such as self-esteem, neuroticism, violent behavior, and family dysfunction) on later life outcomes including mental health, substance use, adjustment, and relationship functioning. These studies are being conducted as part of a 30-year longitudinal study of a representative birth cohort in Christchurch New Zealand.
